Where can I have an X-ray taken?
X-rays are not taken at our center. Before rehabilitation, a large X-ray format must be taken at the appropriate clinic. We recommend AKESO POLIKLINIK (formerly Diagnostic Centre of Hořovice Hospital) in Stodůlky (7:00-15:30).
Can I get a referral for an X-ray from you?
Yes, first make an appointment with our doctor, who will file your health card and issue a referral for an X-ray. X-ray examinations are not carried out at our center, so you need to pick up the referral from the reception before the examination, then go to the relevant department for the X-ray examination and finally bring the CD with your X-ray image to our reception. Here we will file your health card, copy your X-ray image from the CD and return the CD to you.
What does the medical stay package include?
The treatment includes exercise and manual therapy. IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A DIAGNOSIS AND HAVE BEEN EXAMINED BY AN ORTHOPAEDIC SURGEON, NEUROLOGIST, NEUROSURGEON AND HAVE X-RAY, MRI OR CT IMAGES, YOU CAN MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR EXAMINATION AND REHABILITATION WITH A THERAPIST AND AFTER SOME TIME FOR A FOLLOW-UP WITH OUR DOCTOR.
Do you offer courses for children?
Yes, we have courses for children with scoliosis, and we also have regular group exercises designed for children. Courses usually take place at weekends, group exercises for children are held every odd Monday 5:30 - 6:00 pm.
Who is the exercise suitable for?
The Spiral Stabilization method is suitable for anyone who has problems with back pain, poor posture or just wants to strengthen the muscle corset. It is also suitable for people with disc protrusion, scoliosis, damaged knees, shoulders or hips. It also serves as a preventive measure for healthy individuals and athletes.
Can I pay by card or cash?
Treatments are payable in cash only. Exercise aids, books and CDs can be paid in cash or by card. Exercise aids, books and CDs can also be ordered online, where payment by card is possible.
Is rehabilitation covered by insurance?
The insurance company covers only the basic medical examination (i.e., the filing of medical records - personal data, medical history, family, work, sports, personal) - all insurance companies except RBP 213. The Spiral Stabilization Method examination is an above-standard examination that is not reimbursed by the insurance company, as well as the subsequent rehabilitation.
How does rehabilitation work in your rehabilitation center?
Every patient who comes to us for rehabilitation must undergo an examination by a doctor (they must have X-rays or MRIs or CT scans), then the doctor will draw up a rehabilitation plan and recommend exercises that should help with the problem. He then attends regular rehabilitation sessions, exercises and possibly manual techniques.
